I cannot even begin to tell you how much I have loved sharing my Intuitive Eating series. The more I talk about it, the more I want to talk about it. But there is so much to say on the topic that I can barely scratch the surface. That’s why I’m so excited to introduce you to some of my favourite podcasts on the topic.
I’m a big believer in surrounding yourself with the messages you want to receive. Each of these podcasts brings a unique perspective and message. Sometimes it takes hearing from a specific person or hearing one persons story that you resonate with for the messaging to really click. These ladies are doing amazing things and promoting Intuitive Eating and body positivity. I hope you love them as much as I do.
1. Food Psych Podcast with Christy Harrison
This was the first intuitive eating podcast I began listening to and it remains one of my favourites. Christy Harrison is a registered Dietitian and an excellent podcast interviewer. She digs deep with her guests into their personal food and body image journeys and discusses topics of intuitive eating, body image, eating disorder recovery, etc.
2. The BodyLove Project with Jessi Haggerty
As I’ve mentioned, the first step to intuitive eating is body acceptance and self love. Jessi Haggerty is another Registered Dietitian whose podcasts focuses on learning the tools to accept your body. She interviews others on their journeys to finding acceptance and value in themselves.
3. Mind Body Musings with Maddy Moon
Maddy brings a podcast that goes beyond intuitive eating and focuses on self acceptance in all areas. She wants to help people achieve their goals, let go of the fears that hold them back and make the most of their lives. Every time I finish listening to one of these episodes I feel inspired to tackle something in my life.
4. Nutrition Matters with Paige Smathers
Paige is a Registered Dietitian trying to bring factual information to people about nutrition while also spreading the message of intuitive eating and body acceptance. Her podcast brings a mix of topics which I really like since it’s very similar to my own blog in that respect. I can always count on this podcast to provide me with some new insight into a topic.
2. The Love, Food Podcast with Julie Duffy Dillon
This is the newest podcast to my playlist. Julie is a Registered Dietitian who actively wants to stop the war on food. She focuses on making peace with food and finding a healthy relationship with food. She doesn’t shy away from the hard stuff. She talks about the real struggles with intuitive eating people have on their journey and ways to combat those struggles.
